Termination

Whenever HR terminates an employee, this message comes up at the end.  Any Suggestions?  Thanks.

    are you using the Terminate Employee process form the left menu or changing the Status to terminated directly in the Employee Record?

    Cause

    Possible Causes:

    • Environmental changes to the HRMS server
    • updates to other software that directly or indirectly interfaces with Sage HRMS



    Resolution

    Steps to resolve:

    1. Exit all users from Sage HRMS
    2. Create a full SQL backup of the Sage HRMS Live database
    3. Login to SQL Server Management Studio
    4. Open the SQL database SageHRMS_Live
    5. Open 'Tables'
    6. Right-click upon 'REGINFO' and select Edit Top 200 Rows
    7. Change the 'DATAVER' value to 00.000000 and exit the table
    8. Launch the HRMS client and click 'Yes' or 'Ok' to update the data
