I called Sage support about this a few years ago. These files are part of the ESS integration and migrated to the SageHRMS_Live database during the synchronize payroll history process. Employees would need to log onto ESS to view these check stubs. There is no option to open the PDF files outside of ESS. I recommend using PrintBoss if you are looking for a solution that will print a PDF copy of a check.
