Free webinar - FFCRA and Sage HRMS

Join us on either Friday, April 3rd or Wednesday, April 8th from 1-2 pm EST for a free webinar on Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FCRA).  In this webinar we will cover what needs to be set up in Sage Abra Suite and Sage HRMS.  In Sage HRMS, we will create COVID-19 local tax codes and earning codes for Emergency paid FMLA and sick leave.

Registration for the April 8th webinar is currently available on the HRMS Learning Series registration Page.  Registration for April 3rd will become available tomorrow.  Some of you may receive an email tomorrow with information on these webinars.  If you are unable to attend these webinars, a recording will be posted to the HRMS Learning Series Registration page, Recordings and Resources tab later next week.

If you have questions prior to these webinars, please reach out to Sage HRMS Support.  There are also articles in the Sage Knowledgebase on how to set up earning and tax codes (see my earlier post from this morning).

Here is more information on the webinars:

  • Join us today, April 8th at 1:00 pm EST for a repeat webinar of FFCRA and Sage HRMS.   Click here or go to https://get.sage.com/HRMSLearningSeries to register.  If today doesn't work for you, there is another repeat webinar on the same topic that will be available to register for later this week.  The date of this webinar will be Tuesday, April 14th at 1:00 pm EST.  If you have any problems registering, please email [email protected] with your name, title of webinar and date of webinar.  Ben will be able to do the registration on your behalf.  While each webinar covers the same core content, answers from prior webinars will be included in the delivered content.  Today, Mark Auchtung from Sage R&D will be assisting in answering questions.

  • Sage has added a third webinar on this same topic for Tuesday, April 14th at 1:00 pm EST.  This webinar is a repeat of prior webinars hosted earlier this month (April 3 & April 8).  These webinars provide an opportunity to post questions and receive real time responses.  Each webinar incorporates answers from prior webinars and access to any new material that becomes available.  You can see the Q&A posted in the Sage City Forum.

If you cannot attend the April 14th webinar, you can listen to a recording that was done from last week at  https://get.sage.com/HRMSLearningSeries, click Recordings and Resources tab.  You can watch the recording and download the slide deck.

  • Where can I find a video recording for this webinar?

  • A recording is available on the Sage HRMS Learning Series page.  The webinar was delivered in April of 2020 and there have been changes to the software in June 2020.  The setup is now different. As this webinar is out of date, I would not recommend using it as a resource.  Instead, on the Sage Knowledge are articles on how to set up FFCRA and Cares Act.  You can reach out to Sage HRMS Support for more information on these knowledgebase articles.
