  • I added the new earnings codes and tax codes that were provided to my HRMS. The SSI tax code is not set to calculate for the employer but the FMED one is. Is this correct?

For the employee under the emergency sick leave or family medical leave payments, there are no changes.  For the employer, these payments are not considered wages for purposes of the employer portion of social security.  In regards to Medicare, the employer will receive an allowance for the credit of the employer portion for Medicare taxes.  You may want to review Sec 7005, Special rule related to tax on employers.

Where can we sign up for the Friday seminar on this topic?

  • in reply to Kim Ferguson

To sign up, go to https://get.sage.com/hrmslearningseries

Locate FFCRA and Sage HRMS and click Register now and follow the prompts.

Kim, if you have any questions regarding FFCRA, please email me directly.  It's easier if I can get them in advance of the webinar, that way if I need to do some research I can.  My email address is [email protected]  Please put FFCRA in the subject line.  Thank you in advance, and I hope that you can attend.  If not, a recording of the webinar will be posted later next week on the HRMS Learning Series Registration Page (link is above).

Lynn, I'm trying to register for this webinar and it won't load the webinar options. It just says "loading" when I try to select the webinar I want.
