  • Is there guidance in implementing changes in Sage HRMS payroll for FFCRA?  I see Knowledgebase articles for other products but not Sage HRMS,

  • I was also hoping to get some additional guidance on implementing changes in Sage HRMS Payroll. Specifically how to incorporate the caps on wages.

  • I also would like to know how  this will be reflected in Government Reports flowing to Aatrix.  And I will need this by Monday 4/6/2020 when we process payroll.

  •  I will look into this.

  • I added the new earnings codes and tax codes that were provided to my HRMS. The SSI tax code is not set to calculate for the employer but the FMED one is. Is this correct?

For the employee under the emergency sick leave or family medical leave payments, there are no changes.  For the employer, these payments are not considered wages for purposes of the employer portion of social security.  In regards to Medicare, the employer will receive an allowance for the credit of the employer portion for Medicare taxes.  You may want to review Sec 7005, Special rule related to tax on employers.
