Sage Fixed Assets: Announcing the release of 2018.0

Important information
In accordance with policy, Sage will support only Sage Fixed Assets 2018, 2017, and 2016. Sage will no longer support Sage Fixed Assets 2015 or earlier versions. If you use an unsupported version, we encourage you to upgrade your software to a supported version.
What's new in Sage Fixed Assets 2018
This release includes the following new features and enhancements:
  • Prior Through Date and Depreciation This Run are now included in Asset Detail (and optionally, the Asset List)
  • Sage Fixed Assets Scanner mobile application
  • Image Manager updates

Sage Advisor Update (version 2017.0 or 2017.1 only)
Sage Advisor Update will soon notify you about the availability of this release via a pop up message in the Microsoft Windows system tray. If you do not receive the pop up or do not want to wait, follow the steps below to get the release using Sage Advisor Update:
  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Sage > Advisor Update > Sage Advisor Update.
  2. If the 2018.0 release is not listed, click Check for Updates.    
  3. Once the 2018.0 is found, select it and click Download & Install or Download Only and then follow the prompts to complete the process.

Sage Knowlegebase (versions prior to 2017.0)

Follow the steps below to download the release from the Sage Knowledgebase:

  1. Click the following link to open the Download Portal article Sage Fixed Assets: Download Portal.
  2. If you are not logged on, click Log On in the right-hand corner of the page and log on with your Customer Portal user name and password.
  3. In the Related resources section, select your product.
