To start, what version and patch level are you on? It is always helpful to include this information. Fixes and enhancement may impact the product's behavior.

Does the Enter report parameters screen pop up after you click the Print icon, select Record, and select the Report code? Is the invoice number populating or can you manually select it? The parameters are pulled from the Parameters tab for the Report dictionary under Development, Script dictionary.

If it is the report that is blank, you might try running a SQL trace to see what the report script is calling.

This might seem dumb and so i was reluctant to post this but in Sage X3 a Pro Forma invoice is a specific type of invoice with it's own behaviors like all invoice "types" .   So if you print a pro forma it might be looking for THAT type....  So the report might be looking for that type and printing nothing.  Not sure form the information provided. 

if the proforma is created from a sales order or shipment, make sure the shipment site on the proforma is displayed.  I've had same issue with our customized proforma invoice and found when the proforma was created, the site was blank.
