Unscheduled server restart error while VALDICO process after increasing the length of DES and AX3 data type.

Hello All,

I have increased the DES and AX3 data type length from Standard 30 Characters to 60 characters, but when I am performing dictionary validation, I am getting an error of Unscheduled Server Restart.

I tried the same for other data types but didn't get any error, and the process completed successfully. 

Appreciate the help in advance.

    Hi there,

    You should not increase or change the Standard Data Types inside X3, you should rather create your Data Types where they may be required for customization.

    It would also be advisable to attend Sage X3 Development fundamentals.
