Unfortunately local menu's don't provide this functionality. The only way I have seen this done in standard Sage X3 is with the Allergens field on the product record which provides a custom look up list with check boxes that then returns a string of single characters to the field on the product record, with each character representing a particular allergen.

To replicate that would take a fair amount of customisation, so you may be better just adding the 14 separate checkbox fields. Or, if you are not using the Allergen functionality, you could enable it (I think it is v11 - activity code FOA) and relabel the field to something like 'Attributes' or 'Properties' and set up each of the 14 attributes with a different letter in the Allergens table for selection.
