Sales Invoice report stuck when printing for some users

Hi,

Since this past Friday Dec 17 2021 we have started to experience a weird behaviour where for some users the SBONFACP Report generated via printing on (Sales >> Sales Invoice) does not print out to PDF, it remains showing the progress bar moving and you can clearly see the query on the SQL server just sitting there.

No Changes have been done on their user profiles, works for other users who belong to the same professional profile, even created a new user with same membership and works.

We are baffled as in what could be causing this.

Have you ever experienced this behaviour before, if so, how did you deal with it?

We are being recommended to just create new user profiles, where I personally see a bigger issues as we don't even know why this is working, sad part is that we are not getting much help from Sage as in getting a Sr person to assist us with this.

Thanks,

  • Hi- since other users with the same profile are not having the issue I also wouldn't create a new profile.  Did you check the settings on the users printers?  We had issue last week where the user could not print the invoice (customized, not sage standard report) and they had the 'print to file' box checked in the printer setting.  I'm not a technical person but that's all I can think of.  good luck- c

Already checked it, it is default settings on that end.

our business partner believes that could be something related to Prices and a link to spricelist within that report, let's see.

    It is really baffling us

  • The issue seems to be to a reference linking table AFCTFCY and multiplication which then the larger data grows the slower it becomes, seems to be an issue with Crystal and large datasets, partner is working on a workround

We have a customized invoice form and do not have the function table displayed.  I'm not sure why it would be on the standard other than if to limit certain users from accessing however I would use an access code for that.  anyway- hope it works out.
