Enter backdated shipment for product that has since expired

We have a scenario as follows

Sales Order was done on 18/11/2021

The product to be delivered expires 20/11/2021

Physical delivery to the client was done on 19/11/2021

The delivery was only captured in Sage X3 on 22/11/2021 although we changed the delivery date to 19/11/2021 the system still says the product has expired and cant is delivered.

Isn't Sage X3 supposed to respect the shipment date in determining if the product is expired or not?

    Sage X3 does allow to create backdated shipment with an expired lot. Kindly confirm the below points:

     1.According to the example you shared, product is getting expired on 20/11/2021, and you are creating delivery with the date 19/11/2021. Since 19/11/2021 is Friday, please confirm there is no ‘Delivery lead time’ on order.

    Note: ‘Delivery lead time’ is in both Header and line-level at sales order screen and on Header level at Sales delivery screen.

    2.Check if Customer is available for delivery i.e. Working days is checked for 19/11/2021(Friday) in Customer master.
