Looking for Total Usage Qty

SOLVED

Good Morning! I am currently working on swapping from Process Pro To Sagex3 and one of the columns in PP is Usage qty which is total qty used for the year. Is there a field in sagex3 for this? As always, your responses are greatly appreciated!

I don't believe there is any direct equivalent to the period to date and year to date static fields in ICILOC or ICITEM from Process Pro in Sage X3.  In Sage X3 you can use Statistics to accumulate numbers like this.

I'm pretty sure that there are statistics or something pretty close to this running already in Sage X3 that can be "queried".    Look in the dashboard statistics.  I suppose you could populate the statistics file with some historical records but i'm not sure if it would "stick" without the transaction back up having never tries this.

We have utilities to convert Process Pro files into the import format expected by Sage X3.  If you are reinventing that wheel you are working too hard.

STJ  Stock Movements are about equivalent and you can add items and set up different periodicities,

In the table ITMMVTHIS, you will found the total quantity issued from stock in the year for a specific product and specific site. The field YEAISSQTY is the one to use. Just pay attention because the key for this table is per product-site and fiscal period. So if you need the total quantity for 2020 be sure to select the last period of the year (most likely 01/12/2020).

For the record, stock count issues are not included because this is not a real issue but a stock adjustment.

    Nice catch Julien.

So PTD is YTD - prior period total.

This seems somewhat simpler than using a statistic but requires a calculation to locate the record and the totals. So you can't just display it.

Our conversion utility for Sage Pro/Process Pro does not build this movement history record.

In Sage Pro/Process Pro there is one field that stores the number so it can be displayed on a static screen.  There is also a history file similar to movement history.
