X3 allows the purchase UOM to be different from the stocking UOM for each product. For example, you could purchase 6 boxes of a product where each box contains 12 units. So when you received it in your inventory, it could be stocked as 72 units. 

Received PUR would the be quantity based on the purchase UOM (6), and Received STK would the quantity based on the stocking UOM (72).
