How do you control the date difference ?

I tried to do a Global FUP_PDF (relaunch). I had to do workflow UPDFIELD. I felt I did it like a butcher.

Relaunch : sales order, purchaser order, contracts balance, spec for ITM, report to customer every day.

Do you know what is the most elegant way ?

I haven't put any thought into it beyond a high level ideal of where it could be done.  I would imagine that it would take much effort to get that project completed?!
