Our customer is starting to analyze margin information at product level. It appears that margins for kits are not reporting correctly.

Attached screen shot shows example of a sales kit the customer supplies. Because no cost is associated with it, it is incorrectly reporting 100% margin. All the costs are defined against the products in the kit. So SEI does not seem to be picking up the rolled up the costs.

Is there a way to report margin on sales kits accurately?

ALL sales kits are impacted in this way. All other products (except Sales kits) report margins correct
