New UPDATE : Sage X3 Web Server Node.js Important Fixes and Enhancements V11 and V9 - Please Upgrade (Caution: this release does not support Linux Red Hat 6 and prior versions) 

 

We have produced a number of critical fixes and improvements of our internal load balancer and the way our Node.js processes are monitored and managed. Those modifications significantly enhance the stability of user connections and of the Web server in general:

  • Fixing of "white page at connexion" issue
  • Fixing of "nanny crash" or "all users disconnected" issue
  • Better management of Node processes under load stress
  • Finer and more robust handling of retries and of "bad requests"

Those fixes are delivered in following components (Please note those are Syracuse deliveries):

 

V11: Latest release (as of July 2, 2018):

This Syracuse component is compatible with any application from V11 patch 3.

 

 U9: Syracuse build 9.9 (as of July 2, 2018) : Login to the knowledgebase and proceed to (91941)

This update is compatible with any application from U9 patch 5. 

CAUTION : this release does not support Linux Red Hat 6 and prior versions

 

 Sage Business Cloud Enterprise Management (Sage X3) - March Update

 

We strongly recommend the following: 

  • Review the attached guidelines (also found in KB ID 88152) that will help you apply the right Syracuse / Node.js parameters to your customer instances. These are critical to ensure your customer instances exhibit optimal performance and stability.
  • These guidelines need to be applied at each customer site where stability issues have been seen. 
  • Apply a full application + Syracuse patch when possible.
  • The Cloud service is automatically updated.
  • You do not need to apply the U9 intermediate patch to customers who do not have Syracuse issues.

 

 Compatibility :

For U9 :

  • Syracuse patch U9.9 is compatible with PU9 patch 5 and + 
  • Before PU9 patch 5, you must : 
    1. Apply fix 1773 from patch 5 (WX_01773_190.dat)
    2. Do a global validation on Window EDITRTWEB   

For V11 :

  • Syracuse patch 11.9  is compatible with V11 patch 3 and +  
  • Before V11 patch 3, you must : 
  1. Apply fix 1520 from patch 3 (WX_01520_R080.dat)
  2. Do a global validation on Window EDITRTWEB
