Thank you both for your responses.  We, too, file our W2s through Aatrix. In completing our 4th quarter income withholding reconciliation on the Ohio Business Gateway, you are prompted to acknowledge the following announcement: 

Effective for the filing of the W-2/1099s all employers and retirement system payers that issue 10 or more W-2s and/or 1099-Rs will be required to upload their W-2/1099-R information electronically through the W-2/1099 Upload feature on the Ohio Business Gateway. Employers/payers who submitted their information through the W-2/1099 Upload do not need to file a paper IT 3 since the W-2/1099 Upload feature creates an IT 3 from the W-2/1099 information submitted.

This prompt is what drove me to post my discussion here to see if anyone else has this scenario.  I guess I will call the OBG. And reply back.
