CIBC Bank direct Deposit-United States

Does anyone use CIBC Bank in the US for doing payroll Direct Deposits thru SAGE?  I was told that SAGE is compatiable with CIBC Bank USA and that SAGE should have a template that we could use to submit our payroll files.  Any informaiton regarding using CIBC Bank USA and doing payroll direct deposit would be appreciated.  Thanks

Direct Deposit setup information can be found here: View Document - Sage Knowledgebase. This article has links at the bottom for both Canada and U.S.
Payroll is NACHA compliant and offers configuration of several variables within the process (you need to complete the process for configuration changes to be saved).  You are able to run Prenotes as often as necessary to test the process with the bank to be sure you have it configured properly.

I believe that CIBC bank uses the CPA standard 005 format. Sage generates the files in this format in the Canadian version, but not in the U.S. version. The file generated by the Canadian installation of Payroll and Accounts Payable is using the CPA standard 005 format. This is the 1464 byte format.

U.S. Versions of the software generate the file in NACHA format. National Automated Clearing House Association format

If you are using US Payroll you may need to reach out to a consultant to build a report to produce the text file in the format required by your bank.  Check with the bank to determine what format they support.
