Cash Management / General Ledger

Hello,

I'm hoping to get some answers/help.

I did a really stupid thing, I saw there was something outstanding from July (closed month) in General Ledger and without even thinking, i posted it. The problem with this is that the check was cleared in CM. I tried to fix it by changing the status of the check to open from cleared, voided the check and invoice altogether then entered it with a August date. Now I've screwed up my bank reconciliation for July and August. Please help, I'm drowning!

The Cash Management reconciliations may be out of balance due to the manual change you made to the "Cleared" or "Reconciled" status of the check in CM.  You should run the CM Report 'Bank Balance Verification".  If you find that one or more lines of that report for this specific bank account show variances, then follow the instructions in the Knowledgeable Article 25292. Variances in this report will impact bank reconciliation reports going forward until you make the corrections described in the KB article.
