Employee is showing up in multiple local tax groups

SOLVED

A few of my employees are having literally ramdom other local tax groups added inter their setup.  For instance, I have 1 employee in his correct local tax group but also added into another.  1 employee is in his original correct group and actually added into 2 other groups.  Neither one has moved since they were hired so there is no reason that the original tax group would have been changed.

As a result, this is throwing off my Employee Subject to Report with the multiple local groups and the total for filing quarterly EIT.

Any advice on what to look into?

Local taxes can be driven by the job location and not just where the employee lives.  In the PR - Setup Employee:  Look at the Entry Info Tab.   Is the box checked for use Employee Work State/Local?  (Mine are not checked.)  Then do an inquiry of Job Cost List and add a column for Work Local.  If a local tax is filled in for Work Local, a local tax would calculate.

Thank you!!!  My boxes are unchecked and a few of the jobs do have their work local set up which those employees were on.   Thank you again so much for answering!
