Moving from Sage 100 Contractor to Sage 300...

I am thinking of upgrading from Sage 100 to SAGE 300. I was wondering if anyone else did it and was it worth it? I have to move my payroll inhouse and just need to know if something thought it was worth it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. - Danielle

Hi Danielle-

My Sage 100 was having issues with payroll taxes mis-calcing, and no one could figure it out. So I had to go to Sage 300. Honestly, I wish I hadn't. Don't get me wrong, there are some nice features of Sage 300. But overall, I would've rathered stayed with Sage 100 or gone with another software brand. Sage 300 has a very old feel to it. The fonts for a lot of reports and screens are small. If you do go to Sage 300, make sure you have a good support for customizing reports for you. The default reports in Sage 300 are lacking.
