PM Generate Rent Roll

Question

Accidently ran the Generate Rent Roll in PM with out selecting the properties I wanted it to run for. So now its going to run years worth of charges on properties we do not own or manage anymore. In the mean time I have temporarily stopped the update from completing by right clicking on the task and selecting the "suspend" fuction in Background Tasks. Does anyone know how to terminate it, since the Terminate feature was greyed out and its on 7 percent complete?

Hi Tommy, 
 You're going to have to let it finish otherwise you'll have to restore to a backup. The following knowledgebase article explains your options for correcting the situation and also how to avoid this problem in the future:

Thanks April, I always do a trial run first each month, but this one time when I went to run and create entries, I was distracted and forgot to select the ones I needed. I guess I'll have to let it finish then and void the charges I don't need.

For future reference, after doing the trial run, when you go to do Create, be sure to use the Prefill button so it will use the same selections you used on your trial run.
