Adding Dates Formula

I need to create a formula that adds employee DOB to today's date.  I've tried using system date but I receive an error that the field types are different.  Has anyone used system date in a date calculation formula?

  • There are several various DATE functions in Report Designer depending on what you are trying to accomplish. For example if you are trying to calculate the number of days between the system date and the employee's birthdate you would use the DAYS function.   To see a list of all the functions in Report Designer, click on HELP, Help Topics. On the CONTENTS tab select Formulas to expand that topic, the go to List of functions.
