How do I download a report to Excel?

I am running an accounts receivable aging report by customer and need to download the report to Excel.  However, when I try to do so, I get an activation error message "Printer not activated, error code -30".  I don't know why I'm getting this message since I'm trying to print to a file and have that box checked.

Printing to Excel would help me reduce manual report generation.

Thanks!

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. It has something to do with the TS PDF Generator printer. You can search the knowledgebase with the error (solution ID 22320) for other details, but I did the instructions below and it worked.

    Reinstall (install) TS PDF Generator:

    1. Click your Windows Start Button and select Control Panel.
    2. Select Devices and Printers.
    3. Select the TS PDF Generator printer and remove.
    4. Select any printer listed then click Print server properties from the menu above.
    5. Select the Drivers tab.
    6. Select each instance of the Amyuni Document Converter and click Remove.
    7. Run the PDF Converter install from the following location:
      • Wininst folder on the server ...\\Servername\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\WinInst\Prerequisites\PDF Converter\RunAmyUnilnst.exe
      • NOTE: The PDF Converter install will run Silently.

Hi - we're building software that integrates with Sage and makes building custom reports as easy as typing a Google search.

For instance, you can type queries like "accounts receivable transactions by customer" and get an interactive chart in milliseconds that you can sort, filter, drill-down into, and refresh by typing new queries.
