Is there a GL report that will compare revenue numbers from last year to this year that we can use to see if we qualify for the next round of PPP loans?

I've been watching your post because I had the same question. I found these details elsewhere and they worked for me. I ran the report for the 2020 quarters and again for the 2019 quarters. While there was a little bit of leg work and not the report I was hoping, it worked out. I plugged all the income info into an Excel sheet to have data together in one spot for comparison purposes.
Hope this helps you.
Note: The QTD activity is a canned field in the software. The information pulls from the calendar set in General Ledger.
Nic CCC, How did you run the report for 2019? I roll back 13 months and get a report with no data.
Good morning,
We have designed a report that will determine if you qualify for the next round of PPP loans, based on accrual and cash basis and also broken down by entity if needed. If interested, please email me at [email protected]
I'm interested, in your report. I just sent you an email.
Hi, I would be interested in your report. I will sned you an email as well.
I am interested thanks! email sent.
I'm not sure why there would be no data. Do you have new, current, history selected? When I did the rollback my data showed. I was able to run a report for each quarter in 2019 as well as 2020.
I'm not sure of the company that also responded, they may be a 3rd party that would charge.
When running Financial Statements under Reports we do not get the option to select new, current, or history. these are run out of Financial Statement Designer. When I run an Inquiry I can select those option of new, current or history, but not in the saved reports
Is there something I am missing when running a report?
Try running the report out of the General Ledger. GL, Reports, Financial Statements, Individual Statement -select the quarterly report, select your rollback month.
Yes, I have tried this, but the report will not provide figures beyond 1 year of my fiscal year closure. We closed FY20 6/30/2020. I can only pull back and get results to 7/1/2019. If I try to pull 06/30/2019 I receive the values as *.
hmm. my rollback gives the option of 25 months. I wonder if there is a knowledgebase or something to see how you could go back further
I wonder if there is something in my GL settings that only looks that far back. Would you happen to know how your Ledger Settings are set up? My Tran files for current ledger are "Current Only" and my Tran files for YTD Ledger are "Current Only".
mine say the same, current for both. What is your highest rollback number?
The list shows 25, but when I pull any report greater than 18 I receive * as the value
I checked on here about the * coming up and my search led to you asking the question elsewhere. I'm not sure of the answer on that. Can you check the report design to see if there is enough room for the value to show? I can try to look on knowledgebase as well
The roll-back feature only allows you to cross one fiscal year-end. That is the reason you are getting asterisks (******). If your fiscal year end is 6/30/2020 and your General Ledger current month is December 2020 or January 2021, you can only cross the prior fiscal year of 6/30/2020 in a roll-back, but could not go as far back as to cross the fiscal year ended 6/30/2019.
The selection of NEW, CURRENT or HISTORY refers to Transactions files, which are used when printing a General Ledger. When printing Financial Statements designed using the Financial Statement Designer, all data is pulled from the General Ledger Master File Account records, where the ending balances and monthly and YTD activity are stored.
Thank you. I assumed this had something to do with closed Fiscal Periods. I have ran the transaction files to pull the history. It's just a little more manual than I would have liked.
