SUGGESTED

Hello,

What report do I run that will give me PR totals by a specific date range? Thank you in advance.

Are yoou looking for totals by Employee/Pay id, or just Gross Pay, Net Pay, Total Deductions,Total Fringes, Total Employee taxes, Total Employer taxes? There are several reports, but which works best depends on what totals you are looking for.

The PR Check Activity report (not the PR check activity with detail) will provide totals for a specifc date range.

It will show Total Regular/Overtime/Other Pay/Gross Pay/Taxes/Deductionss/ Net Pay totals for the specified date range.  Can use the conditions button to condition by check date instead of PE date.  The KB includes a custom PR check Activity report with detail that prompts for up to 5 Pay IDs, 5 Deduction IDs and 5 Fringe IDs to return  Report totals. It does not include tax totals.  This report is attached to KB 28034. The report includes information in the design notes that outline the process to modify the report using Report designer to add additional totals. If you are not familiar with or do not own Report Designer, you would need to contact your consultant or business partner to modify the report.   KB 29959 includes a few reports to return pay totals that may work for you as well. KB 39431 includes a report that provides deduction totals. KB 55298 has several reports that were designed for reconcling the the check totals to the employee master file. These reports can be used to get totals for a specific date range as well, you would ignore the YTD totals that come from the PR Master file on these reports when running the report for a date range outside of the current or prior calendar year
