MA PFML Aatrix Form Blank

Hello,

we applied Update 5 to Sage 18.4.1 and when we run the MA PFML report the filing ID and all records are empty.  The forms were updated from Aatrix and the form date comes up as 9/2020, I need help on why the report is not populating when we haven't made any changes to the software.

    Hi Phil,

    Prior to Update 5, Aatrix used the state unemployment tax amounts to prefill the form. However for several states, the limits for SUI and the paid family leave taxes are different, so using the unemployment wages doesn't always work.

    With Update 5, Aarix uses amounts from the PFL taxes, so those taxes need to be configured and used in your system.

    It may have something to do with the order in which Aatrix was updated and when you installed 18.4.1 Update 5.  As Jesse mentioned, if you had employees subject to MAPFL that were not subject to MASUI_E, the employees would not prefill the original version of the form.  Aatrix updates looked at the version of Sage 300 CRE installed when applying the update and deployed the forms based on the Sage 300 CRE version (that included the ability to use the new Aatrix forms) was installed.  If perhaps you had 18.4.1 Update 3 installed when you last updated Aatrix, the older version of the form may have been loaded. The issue would only apply if you have employees who had MAPFL taxable wages but did not have any MASUI_E taxable wages.  Please give Sage Support a call if you do not get the issue resolved.

    Thanks for the reply.  Support was able to resolve this and our Aatrix form filed successfully.

    Denise, That was informative about how Aatrix looks at the version to install the forms. Good to know!
