Entering billings and receiving payments through Job Cost in lieu of the Billing and AR applications.

I have pay application #1 that I would like to enter into job cost and not use the Billing, Contracts, Project Management and Accounts Receiveable applicaitions for the process of billing and entering payments or any other process on this job.  This job was set to bill as a contract as there were only two options which were Quick Bill and Contracts.  The estimate and shedule of values were set up in Job Cost.  The pay application was not created in Sage.  Basically I am trying to use Job Cost for everything possible and get away from the above mentioned applications all together.
