Entering billings and receiving payments through Job Cost in lieu of the Billing and AR applications.

Question

I have pay application #1 that I would like to enter into job cost and not use the Billing, Contracts, Project Management and Accounts Receiveable applicaitions for the process of billing and entering payments or any other process on this job. This job was set to bill as a contract as there were only two options which were Quick Bill and Contracts. The estimate and shedule of values were set up in Job Cost. The pay application was not created in Sage. Basically I am trying to use Job Cost for everything possible and get away from the above mentioned applications all together.

If you want to use Job Cost without those modules, you can have a menu (company) option that will go back to how JC was used for billing before the AR/CN/PM modules existed. Call me if you would like to discuss that option. There are pros/cons 770-289-2393. No sure if Sage still approves of this option but it works well for Home Builders.

We use different software to create invoices and then enter into AR along with the payments received against them.....if you are open to another using another module, this is an extremely easy way to handle them.
