I am comparing SAGE calculations along with the excel calculator the IRS put out in publication 15. The only one that does not calculate correctly is the employee claiming dependents.

I didn't do the yearend update until December 30th and I looked at the PR.exe file I believe I have the correct update. I did update the taxes. Has anyone else had this problem?
Yes, we did as well. We upgraded to 18.4 on 12/26; and today we had to install the update 2 to get the tax to calculate correctly.
Hi Jaffa,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We are actively researching this and will update you when we have more information.
Thanks!
We upgraded to 18.4 Update 1 (with no problems) on 12/20 and then updated our taxes on Jan. 3rd before our first payroll run of 2020. We noticed the FWH for those employees who claim any exemptions over "0" is not calculating correctly as indicated in IRS Publication 15.
When I check the PR.exe file, we are showing file version 18.4.1.50, so it appears we need the Update 2, which I have been trying to find, but have been unsuccessful. Would anyone have a link to 18.4.1 Update 2 they would share?
Thank you so much!!
There is an error in SAGE regarding the new w4 and line 3. They are working on a patch. Here is the KB they sent me today 1/8/2020.
I can't find the link for the update 2 but if you put "18.4.1 update 2" in the search on Knowledgebase it will show up.
Thank you, Jaffa! I found the 18.4.1 Update 2 and plan to get it installed before our next payroll.
