Note: The following will adjust print alignment for all users. If check alignment needs to be adjusted for one user, see article 17700 "How do I troubleshoot common printing issues?" below.

1. In Payroll, from the Tools menu, select Modify Forms, Check Forms.
2. Enter the Check Form that you use to print checks.
3. Specify a Form Adjustment.
   Note: The default form adjustment is 100, which represents one line. Increase the form adjustment to move the print area on form down. Decrease the form adjustment to move the print area on the form up. For example, to move the alignment from the default down one line, increase the Adjust form value to 200.
4. Click Close.
5. Verify check alignment by printing a test check or print checks as needed.

Important: The sample check forms that come with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate may not be fully compliant with all federal, state, and local laws and other requirements, which can differ from one jurisdiction to another. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all applicable laws and requirements, and to modify your check forms as needed to ensure compliance.
