Sage 300 CRE Report Menu path edit

id there a way to edit the path for all reports on the Application reports menus to a new sever and folder. I want to cleanup all none Sage reports and move to a custom folder. I want to clean up the report paths in each report menu.

Vs. 15.1: File-Company Settings-File Locations has the file path to the Reports Folder. This is where you can direct the reports to a new server and file location. Seems like there's something about not using a mapped drive for the file path you specify. We keep customized reports in a separate folder which is inside the Report folder we have in the file path. The custom reports will have to be redirected individually with Report Manager if you decide to keep your custom reports in a location separate from the Sage reports, like we have done.

Thanks - I know I can edit Path in File location - I was hoping someone knew of a way to edit the report menu externally. This client has 100's that need to be changed since no one has managed the reports menu for a very long time.

Rhonda, if you keep all your customs reports in one place (i.e. \\SERVER\Timberline Office\Reports\Custom Reports) AND you point the File Locations path to the Custom Reports folder, you do not need to put a path in each one. The system will look in the location specified in File Locations first and, if not found there, it will look in the Reports folder. I do this for every system I set up.

Bill - this is certainly a struggle. It would be nice if Accounting had a central report manager and if these were stored in a database file. When quoting a migration, I go to each application and print the report list from Report Manager in each application. I review the reports that have a custom URL and offer standardizing them as part of the migration - this is done on the OLD system, making the migration much smoother.
