Equipment Allocation and Equipment maintenance

Equipment Maintenance looks to the hours so the employees can handle the oil changes on machinery.. I enter equipment allocation which changes the hours on the equipment. The allocation is a rough estimate of time machinery is used on the job for job cost. My employer is asking is it possible to keep track of both? Basically we need the equipment cost for the job, but maintenance needs the number of hours from previous oil change.

It's not automatic, but you have a maintenance log where you can make mileage notations for the oil changes
Menu 8-3, pull up the piece of equipment, go to options, maintenance. It looks like a spreadsheet

Thanks. I do use the log, but the issue is that the log uses the equipment hours to alert of maintenance needs. I have the mechanics provide those hours to me from the equipment every two weeks. The issue is that when the equipment allocation input is made, it changes the machine hours from what the mechanic gathered. The allocation hours are not as accurate so I don’t want the allocation input to affect the total hours of the machines.
