Sage Contractor 100 Version 19.2 - Do not create archive file until all prior year data is entered

I did not see any other posts about this and I only was able to find this out by calling into the support line (and waiting for 2 hours) so if this helps someone...

Note that with the new version 19.2 Sage Contractor 100 you are not supposed to create the prior year Archive file until AFTER all prior year data has been entered.  This is different that all prior versions of Sage Contractor 100 where you can create an archive, roll into the new year, and post any remaining data to "prior year".  Instead, now you should just move to "period 1" of the new year where you can enter both prior year and current year data, but do not create a prior year archive.

If you DO create a prior year archive, you will have to go back and enter all prior year data TWICE, once in the current file and once in the archive file.  There is no "prior year" option once you create an archive file.

The instructions in the "help" section explaining the step by step close process does not note this anywhere that I saw.  I found out only by talking to a support person at Sage.
