Desiring to review remote data entry prior to posting.

I have used Sage Construction software for the last 15 years but just got into using a hosted Sage 100 Contractor setup.  I did it to allow me to have remote data entry from scanned documents. 

But as I have been test driving it myself, I realized that there is no system that I can find, such a batching, that would allow a data entry employee to input my accounting information and still allow me to correct mistakes before final posting.   As an example, if there is a mistake on a cost code, it appears I have to void the initial entry and then repost with the corrected entry.  Is this correct or am I missing something?
