Does anyone know if you can switch your consultant to a different vendor? Is it fairly easy? How does the yearly support subscription work after that, that just gets billed directly from Sage?
Thank you,
Lisa

Yes, you can but any future purchases of extra seats, licenses, or add on products will still go through the original business partner. Is it the consultant you want to change or the business partner? If consultant, your BP probably has other options within their group
Thanks for responding Char. So the original business partner would still benefit from our business in the future then? Is there no way to switch the business partner? We have been really disappointed with our consultant and I reached out to our sales rep to share my concerns and he basically just ignored my concerns and didn't offer any other solutions. We have been paying monthly for a Customer Success Plan each month through them and let's just say the ability to deliver on that success is mediocre at best.
Lisa, you are not alone here. The sales department is better at painting a rosy picture but once they have the agreement signed, the real process start. If eventually you can live without even contacting your Business Partner you can switch to another State or Province (Canada) and they might be more receptive to your concerns. It happened to us and that's why I am telling you, you are not alone.
Yes, being stuck with a single entity with no recourse seems like entrapment! :-)
You can try reaching out here and explain your dissapointment, they might be able to help:
