Jobs under Contract income

I recently became our finance officer/office manager. Currently, we separate our sales by "service/retail invoices" and "contract income", differentiated by if we do installation or if just materials are purchased. When I pull the income statement report for our weekly staff meeting, I get the numbers from the contract income and the service/retail income. The issue is that we have now had 3 people in my position this year and some projects were not categorized properly. We keep an excel sheet of contracts sold that we do installation and this number doesn't add up to what is under the contract income. I'm trying to find a report or something to look up all projects that have been classified as contract income, but I'm not having any luck. Any help would be appreciated.
