Sage 100 Contractor version 21.1.111.0 running extremely slow

Since upgrading to the latest version of Sage 100 Contractor, our performance has slowed down considerably. It's quite common to get "(not responding)" for 10-15+ seconds after hitting the enter key. Several of our users have discovered that if they are logged in with Remote Desktop Connection, their response times are better. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions for improving the speed of Sage? No other programs we're using are having this issue, so we don't think it's a network/resource issue.     Hi Kevin,

    Some things you can try:

    - Add SQL TCP port 1433 to your inbound firewall rules in windows firewall advanced settings

    - In Database Administration, go to Advanced Settings > Advanced SQL Server Settings > Maximum SQL Server memory - make sure you allocate at least 25% of available RAM, perhaps more if the server doesn't have that much running on it

    - In the connection window on the client machines, in the top box where the name of the SQL Server is, change the server name to the server IP address to the left of the backslash, then log in. Example: change myserver\sage100con to (server IP address)\sage100con
