There are 2 kb articles to help you with this error 46276 and 24110. If you log into the Customer Portal:
support.na.sage.com you will be able to find the steps to resolve that error message.
I do not have another workstation to copy the database folder. Does that mean I have to re-install the program? And how do I do that?

The error could also mean missing or damaged program files, so an uninstall and reinstall may be required.
What version and build of Sage 100 Contractor are you using? You can find this by clicking on the Home & Resources tab at the top of your Sage 100 screen and selecting "About Sage 100 Contractor". The version will be at the top and start with 18.x.xx or 19.x.xx.
