Hi, Mallery. This could indicate an issue with the Windows Management Instrumentation service (WMI) for your O/S. See KB article 70572 for a suggested solution, but if the WMI is the issue you may need an IT professional to fix it.

Yep that fixed it, found the sage knowedgebase this morning, abit out dated but clearing the corrupted files from %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM\Repository. and running winmgmt /resetrepository from an elevated prompt fixed the issue. Thanks for the response.
