how can i print payroll general ledger after posting payroll to general ledger?
Hi Patty. You can run the 2-5-21 report using the following criteria:
Account = if you want line-by-
line details of each account the payroll posting hit, then leave blank
Period = period you posted the payroll to
Date = Check Date of the payroll checks
Source = 16 (or 17 if posting in summary)
Transaction# = use this if you want to display a single check# or range of check#s
If you would like to see the job cost records associated with each entry, then check the "Include Job Costs" box at the bottom of the report printing window
Thank you Ghollister, But I need the payroll summary that shows every employee's check with the accounts on it. It usually give you the option to print this report after posting it to the general ledger. Now you can only view it. the want you mentioned it, it gave me a total amount for each account.. It does not work for me.
Are you referring to the payroll summary posting report, the one you can view after you have posted payroll in summary? If so, then yes starting with version 24.1.69 that report no longer saves as it was going to an unsecured directory in the database files. See KB article 62244 for details.
yes, that one. Thank you.
