Do you use attachments in Sage?  That can cause huge delays in backups, archiving, updating, etc.

Check the size of your backups in the nightly folder. How big is the zip drive?  What time is it listed?  (that is the end time( Look and see when they are scheduled to start.  So how long do they take normally?

Are you out of space on your server?  Open windows explorer form the server.  Click on this PC.  Are any bars red?  How much space do you have for the location of your Sage or its backups?     This has happened to several of my clients this year during payroll archive since they usage of attachments has increased.

If this is the problem, please consider purchasing a great tool to relocate those attachments outside the company folder and monitor and report on broken attachment links.  This will eliminate the extra large zip backups, and issues with backups, archiving, etc.
