"No records to Print"

We just moved BW50 Version 8 from old server to our new server and all of the databases seem to be working properly.

We have one last problem to resolve.  The forms aren't printing.  The modified forms we have are there, but when you select a record and print it you get an error.

The built in reports work fine, the data is there as you can access in real time, just no printy.

"NOTE: There were no records to print."

Any advice?

    Unfortunately, I am not familiar with that error and there is nothing in the Knowledge Base relating to that error. It could be something specific with the version you are using. Generally, if you are getting errors relating to ‘no records to print’ its because there is nothing to print in the range you selected. Verify your range is correct. Otherwise, you can start testing other options with printing forms – like do you get the same results if you do the same task in the SAMPLE company? Do you get the same results using a standard form and not a custom form? It could be an incompatible issue with your windows version and the print driver you are using. Forms use graphics for the form template and those components would use your printer settings/driver.

    If you are using the old version V8, then I would recommend upgrading to the current version, V2021. We have not supported that version in several years and it is also not supported in the current windows environments – for example Windows 10. For example, W10 was not around when V8 was in production so it was never tested and is not supported for that version.

    For additional assistance from technical support, you would want to be on the current support version and system requirements.
