I am not sure I understand your question.  Postings to the G/L happen real time - meaning once you hit Post it posts the transaction using the Transaction date you entered.  There is no batch posting for G/L journal entries.  If you were posting a General Ledger journal entry and closed the screen before you hit post, then nothing would have posted or saved.  You would want to repost your journal entry.  If that is not the case, then I would need more information about what you were posting and where.

thank you Coleen. the G/L was not able to posted due to balance was not even. I could not delete the line that i had already entered, and i could not continue to enter the missing line to balance whole transaction. 

Hmmm - I am not sure what you may have experienced.  I just tried to do some quick testing in journal entries and it let me delete lines, back space, etc.. without any problems.  One thing I can suggest if it happens in the future, try using the "Undo" button.  Otherwise, if it is something you feel is a problem with the software and something you can duplicate, I would recommend opening a support case regarding your issue.  You can log support cases through the Sage Customer Portal   Or join us on Live Chat .
