You can create a custom Inventory report that has ISSUES as the primary data source , just use the IC>TRANSACTIONSDATE and a "between" operator to use a date range

I then dump the data into EXCEL and do a SUBTOTAL  to each change in PARTNUM

There is a report in IC, Reports, Transaction Register, Issues allows you to run the report for a particular part using a date range. If that layout does not work for you and you are looking to put it in excel, then creating a custom export like Vince Settipane suggests would be a good option.

There is another report you may want to review, although it breaks the report down by customer because it is a Customer Report. It is the OE, Report, Part Sales by Customer Report. 

And if you look at Knowledge Base article Customized User Reports Library (74699). This gives you some more reports for the Part Sales by Customer that you can download and import into BusinessWorks. For example it give you a Part Sales by Customer report that totals by Customer or by Customer and Part.  This is a good report to keep in mind, if not for this project, it could be a useful report for other reports you may need.’  I showed a customer this report and the ones you can import and she was really excited about them
