Register 2021 Sage BusinessWorks

I want to share what I learned about registering 2021 Sage BusinessWorks.  You need a Serial Number, a Registration Number, and an Unlocking Key FOR EVERY MODULE.  The only way to get this information is to open your software and use Live Chat in the Help menu.  The person who responds will give you the information you need to register the software.  There is nowhere else you can go to get this information. This begs the question, can you still access the Help>Live Chat if you haven't registered the software and your free trials have been used up?  I guess you need to make sure you register as soon as you install the software.

  • Hi Bonnie - You can find your registration information at any time on the Sage Customer Portal at customers.sagenorthamerica.com.  Once on this page follow the steps below to view your registration:

    1. Click Log on
    2. Use your login credentials to Log on
    3. Select Product Registration
    4. You will see your product registration for all modules

    Yes, you can always access chat under Help, Live Chat even if you haven't registered the software or the trial period has expired.

    It's not there.  I looked several times.  Our sales rep couldn't find it either.  Finally, she learned that BusinessWorks registration numbers are no longer on the customer portal and can only be obtained via chat with a support rep.  If you have 2021 BusinessWorks and can see these numbers on your customer portal, I would love to talk to you to find out where you are looking.
