Sage BusinessWorks 2018 SP 3 and 2017 SP 6 are now available

Please review the information below for a complete list of new features included in 2018 service pack 3.

Payroll

  • Tax updates for the following states:
    • Colorado
    • Idaho
    • Kentucky
    • Louisiana
    • Maryland
    • Missouri
    • New Mexico
    • North Dakota
    • Utah
  • Employee sick hours earned and taken have been added to the PR, Reports Check Vouchers to comply with Washington State sick leave reporting requirements
  • Can no longer delete the Kind of payer value in Maintain Employees
  • Corrections made to prevent error 103 from displaying.  The rest of the fix will be included in Sage BusinessWorks 2019.

Accounts Payable

  • G/L Invoice Distribution Report now shows correct distribution when a vendor invoice is posted using credit card terms

Accounts Receivable

  • Open invoice and aging report sorted by invoice rep are now correct when a duplicate invoice number is used

 System Manager

  • Error will be presented when backing up to an invalid location
  • EULA has been updated

To download the service packs

  1. Visit support.na.sage.com
  2. Login to the webpage by selecting Log on on the top right hand corner
  3. Then select Log on for downloads and personalized content
  4. Once logged in select My downloads
  5. Then select Sage BusinessWorks
  6. Under Downloads scroll to Latest updates
  7. Select desired service pack and download the file to your desired location

To install service pack:

  1. Double click on the file downloaded from support.na.sage.com
    • The default location it downloads to is C:\Users\[UserID]\Downloads
  2. Click Next > when prompted
  3. Accept the End User License and Support Agreement and click Next >
  4. Verify Entitlement information and click Next >
  5. Review install settings and click Next >
  6. The installation will now begin. When the installation is complete click Finish
  7. Access Help, About and verify the service pack installed successfully.
