The ability to merge customer accounts. I have multiple duplicate accounts for customers and would like to be able to merge them together. This would be great. Thank you

New to Sage and Sage City. Curious to know if Sage actually answers any questions or if there is just a bunch of forums with questions dating back 4 or more years?
We're past the 2 year anniversary of this suggestion...has this been implemented? I have the latest version of Sage50 and merging customer or vendor accounts is not an option yet.
I, too, work in both Sage 50 & QB. Although this would be a great function from a user friendly view, I suspect, based on how Sage 50 is structured, it is not possible. Specifically the Sage 50 ability to do more than just Average costing. From a strictly audit trail perspective, mergin accounts (CoA, Customers, Vendors, Inventory Items, Employees sounds like a good idea. From an internal control, prevent fraud point of view, there may be a great reason to prevent this. I'm thinking about embezzelment and the use of "imaginary" vendors. Merging customers or vendor may be a patch to fraud.
