We are a FY 6/30 using Peachtree 2008. I am trying to open July 2013 and close FY12/13. When using Year End Wizard, I get to the back up step and when the back up is 99% complete I get the error message "Peachtree has stopped working" and the program then closes. I am able to locate the back up in our files, restore the back up (all data seems to be there) but I am still unable to open a new accoutning period without running Year End Wizard which doesn't seem to be recognizing the back up step has been completed.

Any ideas what is going on or how I might correct it?
