Read Only Error - General Journal

I wrote an integration between a retail system and SAGE 50 using the SDK.  It was working fine a few weeks ago and now that I'm going back to add a few more things I am getting a READ-ONLY error message when attempting to post a general journal.

This is the same program that successfully posted journals before.

What am I missing?

As far as I know, nothing has changed.

    I never did get a verification.  I suspect that this type of transaction has not been implemented but I don't know for sure.  It is frustrating because the function calls are there and then they don't work as anticipated.
