Integration With Sage 50 US . SDK .NET vs COM

Hello,

What are the options for integrating with the Non -Cloud , Desktop Version of Sage 50   ( US Edition ) ? 
I was able to download the  Sage SDK which has  .NET and COM samples. 

The .NET version  does not support a number of transactions/ entities. 
The COM version looks like it does , but I am having a hard time finding documentation for the different libraries and Objects  to be used. 

Can someone please point me to it ? 

All the documentation on the  Sage Developer Site points to the Business  Cloud API .

Is it possible to use this API with the non cloud version of Sage ? Maybe with a connector or proxy ?

    I know this post is over 2 months old but we managed to integrate with Sage 50 US using the COM API in .NET.

    We would be happy to help answer any questions you may have.

  • It is possible and we have written a Web Service wrapper over the whole Sage 50 SDK as part of our Sage CRM to Sage 50 integration. You should be able to get information from Sage about the SDK.

    We are also exploring the possibility of automating data imports into Sage 50 from our Woocommerce system (PHP, MySQL).

    Any tips and/or resources you can share would be wonderful.

    Hi Craig,

    The biggest obstacle we had to overcome was the lack of documentation and the formatting for the imports is nonstandard and Sage 50 doesn't always properly escape fields with quotations and commas.
